The International Institute for Genealogical Studies course, Lecturing Skills Including Preparation, teaches the skills needed to present genealogical-related lectures. It is a “hands-on” course where the student presents a lecture via our VIRTUAL LEARNING ROOM.
We invite you to participate and hear our student: Jennifer Roodzant. Her 30-minute lecture will be followed by a 10-minute Question & Answer period, and a short poll to provide feedback on her skills. Please come and support your fellow student!
“Correlation of Mined Evidence to Advance Research Objectives”
presented by Jennifer Roodzant on Monday, June 20th at 8 PM Eastern.
Presentation Description: When genealogists correlate mined evidence, they consider source independence, reliability, bias, and assumptions. See examples that identify a question of relationship and learn strategies to use in your own research.
Presenter: Jennifer Roodzant is a professional genealogist specializing in DNA and the Southern U.S. She volunteers as Napa Valley Genealogical Society Board of Director’s secretary.
We would like to thank Kathy Holland for hosting this student presentation.
If you have any questions regarding the Virtual Meetings and/or the schedule, please send an email to degroot@genealogicalstudies.com.
