PLEASE NOTE:  Angela Breidenback PLGCS, Executive Director of the International Institute of Genealogical Studies will be on a well-deserved vacation from March 20-27, 2023. Therefore, our Print Shop will be temporarily CLOSED during this time. The LAST DAY to order printed materials will be March 16th. Orders received by this Thursday will be processed for shipping before the vacation closure. Shipping will resume on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Please be patient, as there will be a backlog of orders to process when she returns. 

In our Print Shop, we provide on-demand printing of our course materials, where we personally fill your orders. Shipping within the continental United States and Canada usually takes about 10-14 days. With rising shipping costs, we try to send your materials as economically as we can. If you do not receive your full order in one package, this means that it was cheaper to split it into more than one envelope to get the best postal rate. 

The next round of Institute courses will open on Monday, April 3rd. Please order your printed materials as soon as possible. If your course notes do not arrive before your course opens – Don’t Worry! You will not be delayed in beginning the course. A digital pdf file of the course notes is provided with every course. You will find it in your student briefcase to start right away.

Many students use both the online digital pdf of notes and the printed paper notes. The digital file is easily searchable with hyperlinks to suggested websites. Be sure to save this file to your computer or reader where you can read your course notes offline, and even annotate or highlight sections. Ordering the printed paper notes from our printshop will cost less than printing out the notes at home yourself. Printer ink/toner is expensive! With paper, you can write notes (in pencil) directly onto your notes, or add sticky notes to specific pages for quick reference in the future, after your course is finished and you want to find that resource again. 

STUDENT TIP: Be sure to save ALL of your course pdfs and documents to their own folder on your computer before you complete your courses. You will not have access to them after you write your exam.
