This course will answer your questions about what records are available in the archival and repository centres of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
What You Will Learn:
Beginning with a discussion of the challenges you may face in your research, a brief history of Ireland as well as research strategies are explored.
You’ll look at repositories such as libraries, religious archives, and museums. An extensive list of county and religious archives with links to their websites is included. How to access the various records, in person and online, are discussed, as well as tips for a research trip to Ireland.
This course can be taken for personal interest or as an elective. It is included in the Irish Records Certificate.
