The International Institute of Genealogical Studies will be hosting a few special virtual meetings coming up for the month of November, including a Guest Speaker in the Student Lounge, a Student Presentation, and our Fall 2022 Graduation ceremonies. Hope you can join us.
Do you have any questions about your courses or your research? Attend a virtual meeting applicable to your area of study or research. Virtual Meetings are a great way for you to communicate with an instructor. These are NOT mandatory for students, but are a fun and interactive way to ask questions about courses and/or research. We can all learn from each other!
Below are the scheduled sessions for the month of November.

In top menu bar, select Information.
In the dropdown menu, select Virtual Learning Room.
Click the virtual meeting name in list (a new window will open).
Click on Check Time to see the time in your local time zone.
To join a virtual meeting, simply click on the Genealogical Studies Virtual Meeting Room link at the scheduled time.
STUDENT LOUNGE with Guest Speaker: Angela Breidenbach, Executive Director, of The National Institute for Genealogical Studies / International Institute of Genealogical Studies. Angie will be talking about the upcoming changes at the Institute and she will be answering questions.

Biography: Ciara Chivers is a Qualified Genealogist based in Northern Ireland. She runs Shamrock Roots and particularly enjoys research focused on Ireland and the Irish diaspora.
