November Courses

November is here! Only two more months left for 2022. How are you doing with your 2022 genealogy goals? There is still time to finish some research and prepare those genealogy projects for the coming holiday season. Make a list and create a schedule. You can do it!

Our November schedule includes two Virtual Presentations by students in our Lecturing Skills Including Preparation course. First up will be Beyond the Birth, Death, and Marriage Dates: The Story of Henry Beckendorf of Lehighton, Pennsylvania presented by Melissa Cantlin Bell on Thursday, November 3rd at 4 PM Eastern; and the second one will be An Irish Genealogy Secret presented by Ciara Chivers on Thursday, November 17th at 2:30 PM Eastern.

We are also busy finalizing the plans for our Fall Graduation for 2022 on Friday, November 18th at 4:30 pm Eastern. Save the date and watch for more details coming soon.

Our students at The National Institute for Genealogical Studies / International Institute of Genealogical Studies are eagerly looking forward to their November courses. Every month brings another rotation of courses with new strategies to apply to their research. Discovering new record types and websites to explore will motivate and inspire all researchers to dig deeper and refine their genealogical skills. Some students will be introduced to new concepts and proven methodology, while others will pursue advanced skills and continue working towards their PLCGS certification.

You can register for courses individually or in convenient packages. Choose courses to create a plan that will best accomplish your personal genealogical goals.
